Azerbaijan, the nation and former Soviet republic, is bounded by the Caspian Sea
and Caucasus Mountains, which span Asia and Europe. Its capital, Baku, is famed
for its medieval walled Inner City. Within the Inner City lies the Palace of the
Shirvanshahs, a royal retreat dating to the 15th century, and the centuries-old stone
Maiden Tower, which dominates the city skyline.

Republic of Azerbaijan with its unique nature, centuries-old culture and history is
located on the western shore of the Caspian Sea, at the eastern side of Transcaucasia.
Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan. The country is distinguished by its rich flora and
fauna. The territory of Azerbaijan has always been in the interest of archaeologists,
so as a result of excavations in the Azigh cave in Karabakh were discovered traces of
human civilization 2 million years ago. Azerbaijan is a country with an ancient and
centuries-old culture. "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud", "Oghuzname", "Koroglu" serve as
examples which are renowned in many countries worldwide.

The best time to visit Azerbaijan is April to June and September to October, which
will let you avoid the 40°C summers and sub-zero winters – particularly in the
mountains. You can also participate in the Novruz Bayrami celebrations each March,
which mark the Persian New Year.

DAY 01: ARRIVE BAKU – BAKU CITY TOUR

Welcome to Baku, the Land of Fire! On arrival at the Baku Airport, you will be met
by our local representative and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and
relax. Then, proceed for Baku Tour. The tour starts from Highland Park by viewing
the beautiful panorama of Caspian Bay. Observe the Flame Towers, Parliament
building, Funicular ride, Little Venice. Lunch by guests own. Later you will visit
Baku Crystal Hall- an indoor arena in Baku, Azerbaijan. Located on the coast of
Baku near National Flag Square, construction of the arena began in August 2011 and
finished in April 2012 in time for it to host its first major event, the 2012 edition of
the Eurovision Song Contest (photo-session from outside). Walking through Baku
Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. It
traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond.
Our tour program starts with Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the
capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is
surrounded by walls were well protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population of
about 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of
the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be
classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (walking tour). Later guests will
experience the happening street of Nizami Street known for shopping. The street’s
history could be traced back to Baku’s town-planning project of 1864. The street
runs through the city’s downtown from west to east. Overnight at Baku Hotel.

DAY 02: GOBUSTAN AND MUD VOLCANOES TOUR AND ABSHERON
TOUR AND HEYDAR ALIYEV CENTER (PHOTOSTOP)


Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In 1966 Gobustan was declared a national historical
landmark of Azerbaijan in an attempt to preserve the ancient carvings, relics, mud
volcanoes and gas-stones in the region. The mountains Boyukdash, Kichikdash,
Jingirdag, and the Yazili hill were taken under legal government protection. These
mountains are located near the Caspian Sea, in the southeast part of Gobustan.

Heritage Site. In 2007 Gobustan was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site
considered to be of "outstanding universal value" for the quality and density of its
rock art engravings, for the substantial evidence the collection of rock art images
presents for hunting, fauna, flora and lifestyles in pre-historic times and for the
cultural continuity between prehistoric and medieval times that the site reflects. Mud
volcanoes. Lunch by guests own. Trip to “Fire Mountain“-“Yanardag” –a mountain
on Absheron peninsula , 25 km from north of Baku. Literally, word “Yanardag”
means “Blazing mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor.
Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the
Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which
itself is known as the “land of fire.” Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple) Based on

Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian
place of worship. “Atash» is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex,
which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the
middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. Tour continues with the visit to
the charming example of modern architecture – The Heydar Aliyev Center – a
57,500 m2 building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect
Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that
eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of
Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from
October 1993 to October 2003. Overnight at Baku Hotel.

DAY 03: GABALA TOUR


After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Gabala city. Stop in Shamakhi.
Shamakhi mosque history goes back to VIII century. Proceed to Departure to Gabala
in the north-west of Azerbaijan the distance up to Baku 225 km (3-4 hours). Lunch
by guests own. Gabala Cable Car (2 lines). Back to Baku. Overnight at Baku Hotel.
Meals: Breakfast at Hotel & Dinner at Indian restaurant.


DAY 04: SHAHDAG TOUR


After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, departure to Shahdag. Shahdag is located in the
north-east of Azerbaijan near the mountain of the same name. This place is not in the
list of the most beautiful corners of the Caucasus. Here you can enjoy the purest
ringing mountain air, unique in its grandeur and diversity of nature and the bright
identity of the culture. Tour In Shahdag. Shahdag winter-summer tourist complex is
a ski resort located in the territory of Gusar region of Azerbaijan. Gusar has the title
of the most ecologically clean and favorable for recreation areas in the whole of
Azerbaijan. Lunch by guests own. Entrances will be to Cable Car (2 lines). Back to
Baku. Overnight at Baku Hotel.

DAY 05: DEPART BAKU


After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check out from the hotel and then be
transferred to the Airport to board your flight back home.

• Azerbaijani cuisine is a mix of Mediterranean, Central Asian, and Caucasus
flavors. Some traditional dishes include dolma (stuffed grape leaves), plov
(pilaf rice), and kebab. One must also try Sharbat Drink and Buglama
(Traditional Lamb Stew).
• Azerbaijan is a relatively conservative country, so it's important to respect
local customs and traditions.
• Azerbaijan has a dry and sunny climate, but the weather can be quite hot in the
summer. So, it is best to bring sunscreen, a hat, and lightweight clothing.
• One must-visit Yanar Dag Burning Mountain, Shirvanshah’s Palace, Flame

city, you will notice that the streets of Baku are spotless. There are rows of
dustbins that are used by people regularly. Littering is considered as a taboo in
Azerbaijan and if anyone is found littering around then they are charged with
hefty fine.

• Cancellation charges applicable strictly as per the cancellation policies below:
1. Cancellation 30-16 days prior to the departure date: 50% of the land
package cost
2. Cancellation 16-07 days prior to the departure date: 75% of the land
package cost
3. Cancellation 07 days or less prior to the departure date or a ‘NO
SHOW’ on the tour: 100% of the total tour cost.

• Payment for the tour must be made as per the invoice, payment terms &
conditions:
1. You may arrange to remit the payments to our Dubai bank account. For
full payment, remittance of USD 30 will be applicable on the Total
Invoice Amount; for part-payment remittance of USD 30 per
transaction will be applicable on the Total Invoice Amount.
2. In case of credit card payment, credit card charges will be applicable:
3% on any card; 5% on AMEX card.
3. We will need a 50% deposit to process the booking. Full Payment
would be due 45 days prior departure.

website and sold to our esteemed clients are bound to stipulated terms and
conditions and the same shall govern the contract between the company,
Horizon Hoppers Tourism LLC, and its Clients.
• The booking will be made by Horizon Hoppers Tourism LLC only:
a) On acceptance of our written quotation or offer.
b) On receipt of passport copies of all passengers traveling.
c) On specified non-refundable initial deposit to proceed with the booking.
d) On full payment of the tour for last-minute bookings.
e) Consent given to the use of the client’s personal date relevant to the
complete the booking.
• The binding contract commences upon the issuance of the Booking
Confirmation that mentions the details of the tour.

decline the confirmation of the booking and return the deposit as per our sole
discretion at any time before the tour.

• Amount paid towards a group tour cannot be transferred to a customized
package.
• Unutilized bookings / services will not be carried forward to the next calendar
year.


• The Lead Passenger on the booking confirmation will be authorized for all the
passengers on the booking confirmation to agree with the terms and
conditions, acceptance of the booking, and for the payment of themselves and
on behalf of all the passengers mentioned on the booking.
• No person/s other than those affiliated with Horizon Hoppers Tourism LLC, in
writing, has the authority to vary, add, amplify, or waive any stipulation,
representation, term or condition in the brochure/ website/ online & offline
booking tools.
• Vouchers will be released in 3-4 working days after we receive the full
payments / 07 days prior to the departure.
In case of last-minute bookings credit card guarantee has to be provided to
confirm the services.
Any on-board expenses will have to be paid by the client directly in cash or
credit card.
• No refunds either in part or full will be made in case of any unused services in
above package like ground transportation, meals, accommodation, sightseeing
tours.
• Horizon Hoppers Tourism LLC is not responsible for any personal belongings,
or any other valuable items left in our vehicles or tour sites, it is solely your
responsibility. Our drivers and tour guides will not be responsible for it.

• On Islamic occasions and National holidays, the tour will not serve alcohol,
and there will not be any live entertainment.
• Photography of UAE residence especially ladies, military institutions,
government buildings, and installations, is strictly prohibited.
• Littering is a punishable offense and offenders may face penalties in the form
of fines.
• Horizon Hoppers Tourism LLC reserves the rights to charge 100% no show
charges if the guest is not there at the time of scheduled pick-up.

• If the Flight Schedule does not meet the Seat In Coach Transfer Schedule of

• All tours and transfers are point to point unless Vehicle at disposal is booked.
• The pick-up or drop-off timings can be changed as per the trip schedule. It
may also change depending on traffic conditions and your location.
• Kindly note that the driver will wait at the arrival terminal for a maximum of
60 minutes after the flight arrives. Should the guest not arrive within 60
minutes it will be considered as a NOSHOW, rebooking of transfers will be
arranged at an additional cost.
• For Excursion / sightseeing transfers & departure transfers vehicle will wait
for maximum of 10 minutes.
• For Sharing transfers, the drivers will wait for a maximum of 5 minutes from
the scheduled time.
• The maximum dimensions per bag (H + W + L) must not exceed 158 cm (62
inches) – 1 piece + 1 Hand luggage in between 2 guests.
